Welcome to Keegan Gowans

We are always pleased to welcome new members to the specialist team at Colchester Orthodontics Centre. Over recent months we have welcomed a new Receptionist and Treatment Coordinator and are now excited to introduce Keegan Gowans, Specialist Orthodontist, who joins us as an associate.

Keegan qualified as a dentist in 2013 from the University of Manchester and also has a Masters in Primary Dental Care from the University of Kent. He qualified as a specialist orthodontist at the Eastman Dental Hospital.

During his time at University, Keegan was involved with a national research project investigating the improvement in quality of life that orthodontic treatment can provide. He finds the most rewarding aspect of his role is noticing the overwhelming change in a patient’s confidence following orthodontic treatment.

Keegan recently got married and has moved back to the Colchester area. Having grown up near Colchester he is enjoying being closer to his friends and family again. When not straightening teeth and creating wonderful smiles, in his spare time Keegan likes listening to audio books and cooking for friends.

We are delighted to have Keegan join us and his approachable, down to earth nature has already had an impact on both staff and patients. Having spent 11 years studying, his knowledge of orthodontics will undoubtedly strengthen the practice and Keegan is looking forward to meeting new patients and improving their smiles.
